Christos Raches
“The village that never sleeps!” A remarkable place and a must-visit on Ikaria. The picturesque mountain village of Christos Raches is located approximately six kilometers above Armenistis. The “Asterix village” has become famous for its unique opening hours of shops.
The residents of Raches live according to the sundial; at the entrance of the village, you will find large arches made of menhirs. Shops and taverns are open until late in the evening.
